Thanks to everyone for making our first big competition a success!
Sunday's competition at Bath University went really well. We hope it was an enjoyable day for everyone concerned, and would like to say a big thank you to all the gymnasts, coaches, parents and volunteers who were there.
There were some really excellent performances throughout the day - obviously some girls have been working very hard on their training over the summer! The British Championships later this month should be very exciting and entertaining.
We were very pleased and honoured to have the Deputy Mayor of Bath, Councillor Leila Wishart and Olympic gold medallist, Jason Gardener among our guests of honour presenting medals on the day, and the event gained very good coverage in the local newspaper and TV news. All in all it has really helped to raise the profile of rhythmic gymnastics in the Bath area.
