Bath Open Championships 2007
Once again a big thank you to everyone for making our second Bath Open another success!
This year we had nearly twice as many gymnasts competing as last year and spread the competition over two days. It was good to see so many girls taking part, especially in the younger age groups. There were some really excellent performances in all sections of the competition, and some very nicely choreographed displays from some of the Bath girls at the end as well.
We were very pleased and honoured to have the Chairman of Bath & North East Somerset Council, Councillor Ian Dewey and the Mayor of Bath, Councillor Mrs. Sharon Ball among our guests of honour on Sunday to watch the end of the competition and present medals.
We hope it was an enjoyable day for everyone concerned, and would like to say thank you to all the gymnasts, coaches, parents and volunteers who were there on one or both days. Once again, the facilities at Bath University were top class (although a little chilly!)
